Over the last few weeks, the contractor has continued parkway restoration and completed the remaining sidewalk pours at Forest Avenue and Chestnut Street. In addition, they began adjusting utility structures between Wayne Avenue and Chestnut Street in preparation for final paving.
Weather permitting, topsoil placement is expected to be finished next week. Following that, the contractor will proceed with sod installation and planting parkway trees. The remaining work, including final paving, sign installation, curb repairs, and pavement striping, is scheduled for completion by Memorial Day.
