Construction Update – 5/17/2025
This week, the contractor completed the first layer of paving near Wilmot Road, in front of the pool. Preparations are also underway to restore this area before the pool opens, including asphalt patching, sod installation, and general site cleanup.
Water main testing between Prairie Avenue and the bridge was also completed this week, enabling the contractor to connect to the Prairie Avenue water main on Monday. On the east end of the project near Waukegan Road, water main installation has been finished, and testing is now underway. After the connection at Prairie Avenue is completed, the contractor will return to the east end to resume storm sewer installation.
