The CivicReady service allows authorized Village officials to create and rapidly disseminate time-sensitive messages to every landline, cellphone, and email address stored in the notification database. With the service, authorized users can contact thousands of residents and businesses in minutes. Only authorized officials are allowed access to the system.

Only emergency messages regarding the safety or welfare of our community would be disseminated using the CivicReady service. Examples may include severe weather warnings, hazardous road conditions, a boil water order. inside the Village or any other situation that could impact the safety, property, or welfare of residents.

This system is an enhancement to existing means of communication and is supplemental to, not a replacement for, systems such as the Village's outdoor siren system.

Privacy concerns are paramount. The Village and CivicReady will never sell, trade, lease or loan any data about its clients to any third party. From a technical perspective, CivicReady utilizes multiple physical and virtual layers of firewalls to maintain data security.

Yes. The area code does not impact whether or not a call is made.
