Lake Cook Road TIF

The Village commissioned Ryan LLC to study the Redevelopment Area of the proposed Lake Cook Road TIF District. After an extensive review, Ryan concluded that the Redevelopment Area qualifies as a conservation area under the TIF Act. A complete copy of the Qualification Report and Redevelopment Plan and Project Report was placed on file at the Village Clerk's Office on November 21, 2023, and can be found in the Related Documents section on the upper right of this webpage. 

In order to continue its consideration of the proposed Lake Cook Road TIF District, the Village must convene a meeting of the Joint Review Board and hold a public hearing on the possible establishment of a TIF District, the designation of a redevelopment project area, and consideration of a Redevelopment Plan and Project. At the December 4, 2023, Village Board meeting the Village Board passed Resolution R-23-59 which establishes a meeting of the Joint Review Board on January 4, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Deerfield Village Hall. The resolution also establishes that a public hearing will be held at Deerfield Village Hall on February 20, 2024, at 7:30 p.m.
