Firework SafetyThe best way to enjoy fireworks will be at the Deerfield Family Days professional display at Shepard Park. The use of fireworks in Deerfield is significantly restricted by Village ordinance. Fireworks are dangerous and unpredictable by nature and discharging of fireworks (including firecrackers, bottle rockets and Roman candles) is a violation of State law and Village ordinances. Also, keep in mind that backyard fireworks displays can be a nuisance to your neighbors, especially those with young children, pets and people living with PTSD and sensory sensitivities. The Deerfield Police Department enforces the local ordinance and State law where applicable.
