Step Back in Time with the 1800s String Band at the Deerfield Historic Village
Join the Deerfield Area Historical Society for a special musical afternoon as Tubway, Subway and the Terrible Goat take the stage at the Deerfield Historic Village this Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. The band will perform and discuss music from the 19th century, offering a lively and educational look at America’s musical past. The summer Sunday series continues with events on:
- August 10 (2–4 p.m.): Ask a Master Gardener – Bring your garden questions and get expert advice.
- August 24 (1–4 p.m.): Plein Air Painting – Artists are invited to bring their easels and paint on-site.
The Deerfield Historic Village, located at Deerfield and Kipling Roads, is open for tours Sundays from 2 to 4 p.m., June through September. The Village is maintained by the Deerfield Area Historical Society, a donor-supported nonprofit dedicated to preserving our local heritage.
