Waukegan Road Construction Update

This week, the contractor began paving the north section between Greenwood Avenue and Half Day Road. The contractor will continue to pave in this area as weather permits and anticipates completing this section by the end of next week. Motorists are encouraged to drive slowly through the active construction operations and expect delays. 
Over the next few weeks, the contractor will continue to work throughout the project on any miscellaneous remaining items and also place pavement markings. Although this project is managed by IDOT, the Village provides regular updates on the project-specific blog.

What is the purpose of Community Roll Call?

For residents, Community Roll Call is a great opportunity to learn important crime prevention information and safety tips while meeting the patrol officers who serve their community. For the Department, it is a way to identify concerns among the community and potential problems that may have bearing on law enforcement.

The Police Department tries to feature a variety of law enforcement topics so each Community Roll Call is a little different. Even if you've been to one in the past, we hope you can make it July 24!
