Tornado Warning in Effect Until 8:30 p.m.

The US National Weather Service Chicago Illinois has issued a tornado warning for Lake County, effective until 8:30 p.m. today. Individuals are encouraged to move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building and to avoid windows.  Continue to follow the National Weather Service for updates at weather.gov/lot or watch your local news.
