WEATHER DELAY- Dartmouth Curb & Knollwood Paving Now Planned for Friday

The below update provides revised dates due to today's weather delays.

PROJECT LOCATIONS LISTED IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER

Dartmouth Ave 
(Wilmot Rd. To Pine St.Including Pembroke and Circle Courts
Today's curb pour is delayed due to rain.  All temporary driveways will remain in place until tomorrow morning at 7:30am.  Curb pour is moved to Friday for the entire south side of Dartmouth and Kenmore.

Road-Fabrics-PAVINGKnollwood Rd (Warwick to Margate) plus Westgate
Paving was not possible on Wednesday due to paving contractor's delayed arrival on Wednesday.  Paving canceled for Thursday due to rain. "PAVING moved to Friday due to weather".

(Margate to Kingston) plus Margate Terrace

During paving operations, pedestrian access will remain available by sidewalk. Due to these complete road closures, we ask residents who require frequent vehicular movement in or out of your home (between the hours indicated above) to relocate their vehicles outside of this operations limits. Please note that the contractor will halt operations for any emergency vehicles. Paving operations will include heavy truck traffic in the area. During this time and if possible, please avoid the construction operations and utilize adjacent roadways.  All driveways will be accessible at the completion of the work day.


CORONAVIRUS NOTICE
The Village’s infrastructure construction projects fit under an exemption per the Governor’s Stay at Home order. Outdoor activities, like construction projects, generally will provide for good social distancing that poses little risk of transmission, but it still is important to ensure the ability to wash or sanitize hands and take other precautions. Village and contractor personnel will continue to practice safe social distancing and sanitation efforts during the construction.
