Warrington Road Storm Sewer
Last week, the contractor completed the installation of the large diameter storm sewer and associated structures north of Warwick Rd. This week, the contractor will continue installation of underground utilities as well as fire hydrant upgrades south of Warwick Rd. Underground work on Warrington Rd is expected to be completed this week.
Castlewood, Cranshire, Montgomery, Chatham, Pear Tree & Village Green:
Last week, the contractor was able to prepare the roadway for paving. Once completed, the contractor was also able to pave the first layer of asphalt on Castlewood Lane, from Montgomery Rd to Garand Rd. This week, the contractor will continue preparing the other locations (Cranshrie, Montgomery Dr, Pear Tree, Chatham, & Village Green) for paving. It is expected that this paving will take place in the next 2 -3 weeks. The contractor may also work this week to begin restoration of driveways. This work will include installing patches where driveways have previously been impacted due to the new sidewalk installation.

There will be a planned water main shutdown on Warrington Road on Friday, June 21 from 9 am to 3 pm. The limits of these impacts will be on Warrington Road from Margate Terrace to Deerfield Road. Impacted residents, as shown on the below map, were notified on Wednesday, June 19 via water department door hangers.
This interruption of water service is required in order to relocate 2 fire hydrants out of the parkway and to the back side of sidewalk.
The Village appreciates your effort in helping to complete this improvement. If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact the Village of Deerfield Engineering Department at 847-317-2490 and request to speak with someone regarding the Project.
