Rail Service


Commuters have transportation to Deerfield from Chicago via the Metra Milwaukee District North Line Railroad, with 2 stations and parking for over 500 cars at each station. View the commuter parking map here. The Lake-Cook station area employers participate in a commuter shuttle service program which takes commuters to and from the station. The stations are both served by Pace buses. For more information about Metra's service, please visit them on their Metra website

Daily Fee: $2

Pay by Phone


Set up an account by downloading the Passport Parking app on the Apple Store or Google Play, registering at Passport Parking Mobile Pay, or dialing 847-380-4332.

Users will be required to load a minimum of $20 on their account before using the pay-by-phone-option. Daily parkers in Deerfield will enter Zone Number 945 and their parking space.

The ease and convenience of this service allows parkers to add or update payment card details, manage notification and receipt options, and contact customer support at 704-837-8066 for any additional help. The cash payment boxes will also remain in place for those users that prefer to deposit cash. For further assistance, please contact the Village Manager's Office at 847-719-7400.

Lake Cook Road Commuter Lot


Commuter Parking is also available at the Lake Cook Road Train Station. This station is operated and maintained by METRA. All parking is a daily fee of $1.50.
