Appearance Review Commission (ARC)
The Appearance Review Commission (ARC) has jurisdiction within the Village Center boundaries (downtown Deerfield) and in the C-2 Outlying Commercial District. The ARC is a seven member Commission made up of Deerfield volunteers. Any exterior changes which would require a building permit or a deviation from an approved Planned Unit development need a certificate of approval issued by the ARC, including changes to building façades, sites, landscaping, and signs.

Meetings:
The ARC typically meets on the 4th Monday of each month, unless there is a holiday. All meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. in the Community Conference Room on the second floor of Deerfield Village Hall.
