Senior/Disabled Taxi Subsidy Program

WHO'S ELIGIBLE?

The Village’s senior/disabled taxi subsidy program is open to Deerfield residents aged 65 and older and to those with documented disabilities. This service is provided at no cost for our residents. 

HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK?

Registered participants are provided with up to 50 $5.00 one-way-tickets* each month.

  • Rides Within Village Limits: A rider submits one ticket plus $1.00
  • Rides Outside Village Limits: A rider submits one ticket and $5.00 is taken off the metered fare
  • Caregivers: Caregivers can ride with the registered rider for a cost of $1.00

WHAT IF THERE IS MORE THAN 1 REGISTERED RIDER USING THE SAME TAXI?

  • 2 Registerd Riders: Each rider submits one coupon plus $0.50
  • 3 Registered Riders: Each rider submits one coupon plus $0.25

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

Fill out a registration form provided at Village Hall and return it to: Village Hall, 850 Waukegan Road, Deerfield, IL 60015.
