Deerfield Family Days

Dog Show

The 36th annual Family Days Dog Show will begin at 8:45 a.m. at Jewett Park on July 4th.  This event requires no registration and features a variety of breeds competing in various competitions including:
  • Tallest Dog
  • Shortest Dog
  • Longest Tail
  • Shortest Tail
  • Most Obedient/Best Tricks
  • Best Costume
  • Owner-Dog Look-a-Like
Ribbons are awarded in each category for first, second and third place along with honorable mentions.  The family fun dog show draws sizeable crowds and is a major highlight of the July 4th celebration in Deerfield.
Herb Isaacs and Howard Wolff have chaired this event since its inception. No registration required.
