Residential Development

All residential and commercial development projects are first submitted to the Community Development Department.  The Building and Code Enforcement Division of the Community Development Department ensures timely review and issuance of permits, inspection services and uniform enforcement of all Village ordinances, codes and regulations relating to new construction of buildings and structures including improvements and repair, alteration and demolition of existing buildings and structures.

Upon Building and Code Enforcement Division review, permit applications which require engineering review are forwarded to the Engineering Department. The Engineering Department provides civil engineering assistance to the Village's Building and Code Enforcement Division, residents, businesses, consultants and, developers in relation to residential and commercial developments.
