Benchmark Information
A reliable benchmark system is a necessary component of the infrastructure of every Village. Benchmarks are used in many applications such as the establishment of easements, topographical surveys, plats of survey, the building of a geographic information system database, and the delineation of base flood elevations. As such, the accuracy of this information is imperative to minimize the possibility for error while preparing these legal documents.
We welcome contractors, builders, and others involved in construction projects throughout the Village to utilize this data. Questions may be directed to the Engineering Department at 847.317.2490.

Benchmark Locations
