NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids for the Village of Deerfield “2014 Deer Run Subdivision Drainage Improvement Project” will be accepted until February 27, 2014, at 11:00 AM at the office of the Village Manager, Village of Deerfield, 850 Waukegan Road, Deerfield, Illinois 60015. The proposed project consists of earth excavation, grading and landscape restoration.
Bid documents are available for download at no charge. The download link will be provided to those who express interest in this project by "Registering as a Bidder" for this specific project.
No bidder may withdraw his/her bid for 60 days. Bids shall be submitted on forms furnished by the Village of Deerfield and in a sealed envelope plainly marked “2014 Deer Run Subdivision Drainage Improvement Project.” If a bidder wishes to qualify his/her bid or make special stipulations thereto, these shall be submitted in the same sealed envelope as the bid. No bid will be considered unless the bidder submits a duly executed Affidavit of Noncollusion, Certificate of Nondiscrimination, and Certificate of Compliance with State of Illinois Prevailing Wage Rate as furnished by the Village of Deerfield. All work is to be completed by May 1, 2014.
After analysis of all bids, the award will be made by the Mayor and Board of Trustees. The Village reserves the right to waive formalities, to reject any and all bids, and to accept the bid deemed to be the most favorable to the interest of the Village.
Sealed bids will be publicly opened and read at 11:01 AM on February 27, 2014 at the Deerfield Village Hall, 850 Waukegan Road, Deerfield, Illinois 60015.
