Celebrate the winter season by joining neighbors, friends and our local businesses for fun and festive activities in downtown Deerfield!
Friday, December 7, 5-9 p.m.:
Join us as we celebrate the season! Horse-drawn carriage rides, a two-hour live ice sculpting show and roasted chestnuts highlight the evening’s festivities in the front lawn of Village Hall at 850 Waukegan Road.
The Village Hall lobby will serve as the venue for live holiday performances from the Deerfield High School Choraliers, The Caroling Party (costumed Dickens Carolers) and Deerfield’s own The Hurricane Saxophone Quartet.
Complimentary treats include cookies from the Patty Turner Center, hot cider/chocolate and popcorn from the Deerfield BP and corn pudding and baked beans with brisket from City Barbeque!
Saturday, December 8, 11-3 p.m.:
Visit Forrest Plaza at The Shops at Deerfield Square for pony rides and horse-drawn carriage rides beginning at 11 a.m. Get in the holiday spirit with Hanukkah games and treats sponsored by Coldwell Banker.
Carriage tours stop at Village Centre Plaza for a meet and greet with Santa, sponsored by PetPeople, starting at 12:30 p.m. (pets are welcome), a life-sized snow globe that participants can go inside of and more holiday fun. Make sure to bring your camera!
